Puck Shooting Challenge
Purpose:
- Develop your hockey skills during the off season to make yourself the best player you can be.
- IT ONLY TAKES 5000 PUCKS TO GET A FREE T-SHIRT!!!!
SOME HELPFUL INFORMATION TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR SHOTS!!!!
5000 Puck Off Season Shooting Challenge
Purpose:
● Develop your hockey skills during the off season to make yourself the best player you can be.
Details:
● All LDC Hockey skaters are eligible to participate
● Players should log the number of shots and type of shots per day between May 1st and September 1st with a goal of reaching 5,000 total shots.
● If you hit 5,000 but still have time, keep shooting. Those who hit 10,000 will be entered into a special raffle for a prize.
● Remember to keep it fun! Set goals, create challenges, make fun games out of this. Don’t forget to work in other hockey skills like stick handling or passing.
● All skaters that turn in a completed 5000 puck challenge form signed by a parent will receive a t-shirt and have their name on a recognition banner to be displayed in the arena for the season.
● Take a selfie or short video of your creative shooting games and post them to LDC Youth Hockey’s social media.
● Go to www.hockeyshare.com and set up a player profile.
● Search for the level you were in this season and add yourself to that team.
● Teams:
○ LDC Mites
○ LDC 10U
○ LDC 12U
○ LDC Squirts
○ LDC Peewees
○ LDC Bantams
● Log your shots on your hockeyshare player profile daily.
● Once you have completed your 5,000 shots return this form signed by both player and parent/guardian with shirt size to ldcpresident0@gmail.com or put it in the president mailbox at the Litchfield rink.
● Shirts will be distributed after the challenge has been completed.
